Ascend Launches CLAP for Construction Industry Executives

The Indian Construction Industry is a robust Industry which currently employs over 5.1 Crores. About 1.6 Crores additional job opportunities are expected to be generated by 2022 thus making it the largest employer.

Despite all these impressive numbers, the Industry is battling its own problems related to productivity. The global productivity growth of Construction is 1% which is amongst the lowest compared to other Industries.

According to a Research conducted by Ascend School of Construction Business, Construction Professionals admit that Protect Leadership skills are missing in their respective projects. As a result, the 3 major causes of errors in projects are Mismatch in Task Allocation, Lack of Planning and Improper Monitoring of Tasks. These are key challenges that can be dealt with through effective Project Leadership.

Ascend School of Construction Business is launching a Construction Leadership Accelerator Programme(CLAP) for Construction Industry Executives to help solve these challenges in association with Vayati Systems and Research and the British Legal Center. CLAP focuses on 3 Core Competencies: Project Management, Construction Business Strategy and Contracts Management that will enable Executives to gain an in-depth understanding of how they can impact productivity with effective Project Leadership.
